Dr. Zanger prides himself on guiding heart patients to a healthy recovery. He provides comprehensive cardiac and circulatory system exams to identify conditions in patients of all ages and specializes in the treatment of congestive heart failure and all forms of valvular heart disease.     

Dr. Zanger is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his training in Internal Medicine at the Jacobi Hospital/Montefiore Medical Center. He then went on to complete a three-year cardiology fellowship at the prestigious New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center where he also held the position of Instructor in Medicine at the Cornell University Medical College. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and remains an integral part of Yeshiva College alumni activities. Dr. Zanger holds an academic appointment as a clinical professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
