Dr. Eisenstein provides a wide range of the treatment and diagnostic skills available at Cross County Medical. He is board-certified in nuclear cardiology as well as cardiology and internal medicine. His expertise in nuclear cardiology allows Dr. Eisenstein to more thoroughly examine and identify heart and circulatory issues without resorting to invasive procedures. He is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was awarded the George James Epidemiology Award upon graduation. Dr. Eisenstein then went on to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and completed his cardiology fellowship at The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Eisenstein is both a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Currently, Dr. Eisenstein holds an academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center as a clinical professor. Dr. Eisenstein has traveled all over the country lecturing physicians on the most current treatment options for cardiac related conditions such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia. His interests include all forms of cardiac imaging, from ultrasound to nuclear scanning to the latest research concerning CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging of the heart.
